General

Paremman Luonnon Puolesta -Säätiö sr / Foundation for Better Nature sr (FI22326685) is a non-profit foundation to which the National Police Board has granted an ongoing fundraising permit RA-2020/701.

These terms outline the foundation’s principles for accepting donations via MobilePay and payment methods offered by the payment service provider Paytrail.

Payment

A donation is an action taken by a legal entity in which they give without compensation.

Right of Cancellation and Refunds

If the donor has made an error when making a payment, they can contact our office (see “Contact Information”). In case of an error, it is possible to refund the donation either in full or for the portion that was in error.

Complaints

Due to the nature of donations, it is not possible to file complaints about them. If the donor has made an error when making a payment, they can contact the national office (info@plups.fi or 050-511 6933).

Recurring Donations (MobilePay)

The donor commits to recurring donations, generally for an indefinite period. Our office (info@plups.fi) is the point of contact regarding recurring donations. Monthly donation (recurring donation) is charged on the fift day of each month.

Terminating or Canceling a Recurring Donation

If the donor wants to end a recurring donation in MobilePay, they can do so as follows in their application:

  1. Open the app
  2. Click on Events
  3. Select Recurring Payments
  4. Open the desired agreement
  5. Click End Agreement

The donor’s donation agreement is considered terminated when they end the recurring donation. If this cannot be done through the application, they can contact the national office (info@plups.fi) to end the recurring donation.

Making Payments

You can make a monthly donation using MobilePay (MobilePay Finland Oy, Business ID: 2912210-8). You can make a one-time donation using payment methods provided by Paytrail (Paytrail Oyj, Business ID: 2122839-7) as the payment processor.

MobilePay and Paytrail are registered in the payment institution register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Donations are made through our donation panel (either MobilePay or Paytrail). Donations can also be made through the MobilePay application using the short number #20669.

Payment is secure, as all information regarding the payment transaction is transmitted using an encrypted connection so that no outside party can see the payment transaction information.

Payment Methods

Through Paytrail, you can pay with online banking credentials and, payment cards (credit/debit).. The following payment methods are available: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Debit MasterCard cards.
